The cash from BHPP will be greater than any div payment back from WPL so net effect will be a cash add to WPL post merger.
yes BHPP assets are great cash generators but keep in mind so are our WPL LNG assets. They had a higher realised price than brent in Q4-21!
all is all this is a good deal for both sides, combining two great sets of assets.
