Hi all,
I must say that it's a disappointing start to the trading day. It opened at 13c (same as pre-announcement close), and has edged down to 12.5c.
As mentioned previously, I was expecting the SP to spike on this news, and guessing a 15c-20c range as a result.
Obviously the punters don't see the merger to be quite as rosy as (at least I) expected, although to some extent the 13c would already have had some potential merger upside built into it. It's still early days, but it is a bit of a disappointment thus far.
FER is up by a cent, but nothing to write home about.
