An inside source has confirmed CAU no longer source their skins from Fletchers as they were considered unsuitable for collagen extraction, whatever that means???
Fletchers have a huge abattoir business and if their skins are are "unsuitable" then I'd like to know where CAU are going to find "suitable" ones. It has been suggested that the Merino skin is not ideal and perhaps they need skins from other sheep breeds.
Doesn't sound very promising and judging from the comlete lack of information from the company they're obviously still struggling with getting the technology to work at a commercial level.
You'd be better off walking into the casino and betting on black than investing in this mess.
