Joyce, if you know as little about stocks as you suggest then I wouldn't spend much time or take notice of too much on Hot Copper. Spend the time learning about fundamental and technical analysis and broad economic trends.
Without some sound knowledge this web site will probably only confuse you as it is geared more at ST investors.
