Barry Fitzgerald's column in today's The Age refers to a recent report by Merrill Lynch in which they say success at Kontiki would add $1.50 per share (failure could result in $4.40 downside and have raised their price objective to $11.80 per share). Based on ML's valuation the P50 7TCF of gas at Kontiki is worth $270mill, assuming 180mill shares on issue. Seems a tad low to me!
