Thoughts on volume.

Bigger volume in 2009/10 because of the SP being pushed from whatever 50, 70, 90 to 1.70 was a lot to do with traders pushing it higher and higher. Then they bailed and ran.

The whole share daily market volume has dropped the last 6, 12, 18 mths. A lot of people have left the share market and put it in cash investment - and it is still happening. Until markets settle down more and more money will leave the market and look for safer places.
