Department store investors understand the towering importance of the Christmas trading season to corporate performance.
Westpac's Christmas expectations survey is out, reported here:

It points to 3.3% growth overall, a forecast dismissed by David Llewellyn-Smith (HnH).
MYR achieving system growth - and I see no reason why it can't with it's cash float improved by last years CR - will be enough to crush the shorts who are betting heavily on very poor trading by MYR. One doesn't need to be a wild-eyed bull to observe the shift.
We shall see.
