I am not sure if youare baiting with an agenda, but I am going to presume you aregenuinely confused and answer sincerely. It may seem like I am shooting myself in the foot writing this, as it is not helpingothers buy this stock so that I can get out. So be it. If HLXis successful in its drilling program, nothing I write will hinder it, and ifnot - nothing I write can help it.
This is an extremely high risk stock and you should be aware of that. IfI had a time machine, I would turn back time to 4 years ago and write abig sign above my trading PC saying 'Never invest in HLX'. Oh happy days!
Scanning past posts on this forum, you will read certain themes, such as:
- Nearology - We have 'good' tenaments near proven valuable resources
- Small market cap - Compared to other companies there has not been a lot of dilution (until recently)
- Low price compared to the potential rewards (ie good risk/reward ratio)
- Creasy (the geology guru) is the largest shareholder therefore......(I don't exactly what that means as I have never spoken to him about anything, let alone HLX - has anyone?). Yes we know he contributed in the last cap raise, but not the conditions.
And those points are all relevant. However, andthis is the problem, we have not been able to find enough of anyresource at mineable concentrations to make our share price significantlyincrease, since 2016. Yes we have a JORC resource but did itmaterially help our share price? And no I do not believe it is a problemof marketing. All the marketing skills in the world cannot hide the factthat we have not been successful in getting consistently good results with thedrill bit. End of story. Which is why some posters/shareholders areunhappy with our geologist. It may not be the geologist's fault if the resources just don't exist in our ground, but he was manager for long enough to have sought new ground. We were 'Explorer of the Year', but 'Loafer of the Decade'.
All just my opinion of course. DYOR
