I just wonder what are the average costs of the new comers among the top 20 shareholders? I believe that the majority holders here would have an average cost of holding around 10c, with Shaw paying the most at around 14c avearge, and some speculators early in 2009 paying the least at around 7c.

Today's buyer is likely to have an average cost around 20c, albeit high cost relative to old holders, he/she would have avoided much of the downside risk during the GFC and the inital recovery phase 2009-10 which justifies the premium I suppose.

If everything goes well, we will eventually have this stock at 16xPE, which taken into account MES's unique strategic location and China's structual shortage in high end nylon supplies.

In the end, congratulations to afd, livas, rowser and others who have hold so long, your patience have certainly been rewarded with a good captial gain, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the journey. My last advise is not to get overly excited, haha!
