Overweight, diabetic Americans with poor renal function are excluded. That's half the country isn't it?
Also, you need patient consent to go on trial. How long does it take to convince the family? The patients are in no condition to give approval.
You obviously have never run a trial, and never tried to get people to try a trial drug. Let alone in a pandemic.
