It's not bad to be wary of the efficacy of this treatment though. Mesenchymal stem cell therapies have been tried previously and had a lot of hype back then too, before phase 3 trials were pulled.
Look into Osiris Therapeutics.
It's very complex tech. Not as simple as just modifying the immune response. There's tons of well studied, simple drugs that modify the immune system in known ways that still don't end up producing expected results in certain pathologies.
I'm excited to see the results of the trial, but after some research I'm sitting this one out.
That might change, I'm still reading, still intrigued.
