Volume is high, the bots are out in force and the price is being held back from moving with the changing tide of sentiment (for now).
My guess is the shorters are stacking the sell side with phantom orders and selling to themselves cheap whilst buying whatever is on offer int he market at these prices, to keep the price under control whilst they unwind their positions.
We'll find out on Shortman in 5 days if I'm right, or sooner with a price spike if they manage to unwind quickly.
