creditors & administrators will cut a deal to break even on their debt so now is the time to partner up while the company has some control…..
I would say these two people holding 18% of Mesoblast (below) have a plan B if the debt was called in by Oaktree - Gregory is rich enough to float the company $20 or $30 million to add to the current cash at bank position of $53 million and payout Oaktree their $60 million in the process - they have too much to lose and of course Gregory George is no idiot being the founder of SurgCenter and probably experienced an uphill battle or two during his time to reach success ...... and of course if you read the news header on the SurgCenter link below you will see SurgCenter are certainly cashed up to enable an intervention / partnership if required - just sayin'

TENET CLOSES $1.1B SURGERY CENTER DEAL
Dallas-based Tenet paid $1.1 billion to acquire SurgCenter Development's ownership interests in 86 ambulatory surgery centers and related services, the company said in a Dec. 22 news
..... but I agree with you re: the partnership comments - it is time after all the touting of negotiations and of course now the Chairman's rhetoric in the Annual report to deliver upon these .....
"We also support management’s strategy to take the heart failure program forward in partnership with a global pharma to optimize shareholder value"
