problem with OZ super members direct you can't participate in rights issues etc. You don't own the shares. Oz super does in trust so rights issues don't apply to you as an individual. I don't normally provide advice but look at ESUPER. it's a pure SMSF web based platform. They do all compliance and tax. About $1,000 pa cost. You own everything as trustees for the beneficiaries, do all the trading and a bit of admin but you are totally in control. I use it in conjunction with Commsec. Very happy with it after about 8 years. OZ super is brilliant for the overseas shares option. This has the magnificent 7 and other great shares. stunning long term returns. Better LT returns than all ords.
