They did. Fact is, when you have someone on ignore, and someone uses the reply function to respond to the ignoree, HC only shows you the text but not the re-quote / reply bit of the person you ignored.
I remember someone once asked everybody to always include a tag naming the person they were replying to, in addition to using the reply function, so people could see the tag even if they had the original poster on ignore.
Lot of effort to ask people to go through, IMO. I find it easier just to not use the ignore function. Easy enough to skim or skip posters I don't want to read.
