not 'after' the auction IMO so much as the result i.e. of not matching all on-market bid & offer volume at the determined auction price during the auction. So, re your question @antibody, I understand that someone wanted them, but just not enough to marry (on auction close) against the offers for sale as placed bids for purchase at the determined auction price or higher.
