I mostly agree with what you are saying except for this:
"If they don’t sign it is curtains"
The share price will most certainly take a hit if Novartis don't close but to say "it is curtains" is a bit too extreme. MSB can and will go on without Novartis if they need to. However, obviously, it will be better if the deal is closed and they move forward together with Novartis.
