Thanks for this fireblade. Its hard to know exactly how important locals views are in the political process. It didn' t seem to matter too much that the residents of the Tamar Valley were opposed to the pulp mill. (Should know I'm related to half of them! LOL) Of more significance is the impression that Uran are trying to buy off local govt - doesn't come across well and that Sochor seems to have been insulted by the way the initial Rozna proposal was presented. Not sure if the appropriate authorities will forgive perceived insults. Think they should be cracking on in the Ukraine where there is less emphasis it seems on public opinion and Uran doesn't seem to have put anyone offside. A
