Discussions with Iberian Resources Minority Shareholders
Tamaya Resources Limited (ASX: TMR) (“Tamaya”) holds an 86.21% interest in
Iberian Resources Limited (ASX:IBR) (“Iberian”), following the transaction earlier
this year.
In a separate ASX release of last week (23rd August 2007) , Tamaya and Iberian
announced the development of the Lichkvaz project in Armenia, and furthermore
that discussions would be held regarding the financing of the project, which is
expected to be in full production at the end of March 2009.
Tamaya, as the majority shareholder in Iberian, is about to commence
discussions with minority shareholders in Iberian with a view to agreeing the
optimal financing structure for the project, and to understand more fully their
continued interest in remaining a minority shareholder in an illiquid stock.
Shareholders will be advised of any further developments which are material to
either company.
