Allow me to introduce you to the concept of 'commercial in confidence'.

This is a principle by which commercial enterprises are able to share information with eachother which is intrinsically valuable, and which is intrinsically confidential. They make binding agreements to keep the information confidential among the parties.

Please do some research on this and don't be simplistic. Sure we'd all like more transparency but not if it would send free kicks and signals to competitors.

Transparency is not an absolute requirement. Judgment calls are made about what if anything, can be released to the market, balancing various considerations including commercial in confidence matters.

Seriously. This company is in excellent hands. The market has been vicious with the SP, which is the work of market sentiment (which is currently obsessed with yield) a lot of very dubious activity, including shorting, issuing misleading reports and what appears to be unmerited downramping.

So you get impatient investors who are likely to doubt what is actually just good practice.
