Since they might be 10 years away from needing to manufacture en scale, I would think all they have is a plan on some blueprints.
They may well have patent applications in process..... just the decade long wait for them to finish a phase 3 trial and go for some kind of FDA or Australian approval is holding them back.
If mesoblast can pull a plan out of their hat too use a 10 year old method to manufacture 20K doses a year.... Watch this space !
CYP's manufacturing cell qualities are unproven until they complete a phase 3 trial.
Mesoblasts Heart Failure cells are the Progenitor type MSCs, so who knows how they are planning on manufacturing them exactly, only that they are easier than adult MSC's and will be needed to treat millions so I would guess 3d Bioreactors in this case are a must. Again = phase 3 is complete already for the process they are currently using.
