Couldn't agree more, except that there are two fellas in Adelaide who actually responsible for all of this. Not in any way to diminish MSB/SI however without these "nurse cells', as they call them for us lay people, that they were actually able to extract for the first time in the world because of their brilliance, everything else in moot.
Yes we are all, and I trust will shortly be very, very grateful to SI with his expert stewardship...but that sublime skill of his is just that - a skill - and, if I may have the temerity to say, neither unique or world changing...the science is. One day there will be reckoning of this fact with two first class tickets to Sweden for these two fellas.
At the same time, sadly, there will be many who have hitched themselves to this wagon who will benefit many, many more times over than theses two humble, brilliant, self-effacing fellas who did something utterly incredible that will change mankind forever...something overlooked or ignored or perhaps not even contemplated by too many of the wagon-hitchers...
