Be careful about assumptions!
CEPH acquired the marketing rights to the CHF and neuro programs at MSB long before the US listing. And, in fact, they never bought MSB shares in the original deal!
According to the announcements, they bought Angioblast shares which they converted to MSB shares on the merger between Angioblast and MSB in 2010. While I don't think we know directly what they paid for the Angioblast shares (if you had the time I guess you could calculate it), the MSB announcement said at the time it was equivalent to $4.35 per MSB share. And that is A$ for MSB shares!
