Yeah, look not a major issue by any stretch if Johnson (in particular) or Giles had requested the register and it did not include contact details then I am pretty sure that would be a breach (maybe minor) or the corporations act. Paragraph below. My only real point in this is I would have like to have heard from one of them that it was requested and refused...... that would really point to something underhanded going on by the BoD which would probably clarify peoples point of view on this transaction. Otherwise we get stuck with innuendo which really doesn't help.
Corporations act 2.1.c states:
the body corporate must do everything that is reasonably possible to arrange for the members to be contacted, or for the material to be sent to the members, on the person's behalf by a third party service provider nominated by the body corporate.
They are both very experienced executives so I don't like that they do not appear to have done this. Maybe they did but it is not clear.
