To our valued Nearmap shareholders
As we approach the 10th anniversary of Nearmap’s first capture of imagery in Perth in November 2007, our marketing has been focussed on some of the beauty and insights which our imagery provides. In August, we highlighted 10 urban areas which have experienced the most rapid urban change in the time we have been capturing, and this month we are focussing on 10 of the most stunning aerial views found in our library. In this newsletter you will find links to press articles which feature this content, including a recent story on Nine News utilising our imagery to highlight the growth of ‘micro-lots’ in Melbourne.
Following the devastation wrought by Hurricane Harvey in the United States earlier this month, we have also included imagery we captured highlighting the before and after impact of its destructive force. Our thoughts are with those people impacted by the hurricane and we trust our imagery will help insurance companies in getting people back to their lives more rapidly. We also highlight a US customer use case for our imagery.
Thank you for being an investor in Nearmap and we look forward to communicating with you again next month. Our Annual General Meeting is scheduled for the 16th of November in Sydney and I look forward to the opportunity to present and update on our business there.
