It is a difficult situation at times for posters,moderators and admin.

I think when in doubt a simple re read of madmins post puts it all into perspective.

Moderators and admin have tried to have guidelines that stop the bad language and also the bad behaviour of some posters.
This at one stage lead to not being able to post LMAO and a couple of other very mild words like bugger. Unfortunately some may have been suspended in the early part as a firm set of guidelines were attepted to be implemented. As most will see there has been a loosening of this if the mild word or acronym was not used in a flaming fashion. Some other letters or words are non negotiable.

We also had a policy of attempting to stop posters talking about each other and only talk about the stock. Good in theory but difficult in practice because debate was not only stifled, it was erradicated. This is a stock site and robust discussion and debate should be permissable but any direct insults/flaming will not be tolerated.
We should be able to say what we feel is bad about a company as well as what we feel is good about it without having people with opposing view points constantly hitting the TOU button.
If it is done with respect then debate it on the thread. If someone just gets under your skin too much then use the ignore.
Simply put, if you can't argue with out throwing a punch then don't post on the thread and don't send in countless TOU's.
Admin, with the support of all the moderators are attempting to make HC as user friendly and enjoyable as possible. It is appreciated however if posters don't get their own enjoyment to the detriment of others.
