I don't vote for or love the ALP - or any major party, Moondoong. That's the mistake many of you hard Right people make when someone criticizes your failed leader.
The fact remains:
When you are the Captain and your intelligence experts provide credible evidence that the enemy is coming, then one assumes you will make a concerted effort to make appropriate preparations to combat that enemy.
When you are the Captain and your troops come under attack from a far superior force, you do not swan off overseas on a holiday.
When the enemy has already invaded 12 million acres of your territory the captain shouldn't twiddle his thumbs while his Rome burns, or take nice little Lear jet junkets to burnt out villages at a cost of circa $50,000 at the taxpayers expense.
When your the Captain you don't wait to be overrun by the enemy before you call out the reserve troops.
When your the Captain you shouldn't wait for the slaughter of your troops and your land invaded before you commit money and resources to the fight.
And when your the Captain you don't pass off your responsibilities to your corporals with the excuse that the battle is in their hands.
You are either a leader or you're not. And in this case our so called leader fail - miserably.
