We have just witnessed yet another merger with Arrow as the buyer and Shell money assisting with the purchase. We have also seen today Eastern Star rise about 18% from a very undervalued level.
Now looking at this frequent urge to merge, what about eastern Star bidding for Central -CTP. I could imagine say a one for two share exchange from ESG to CTP, and ESG would receive a large measure of support.ESG would also gain in stature from the then joint venture association with British Gas.
