If your from HongKong, you will also remember the Vietnameese Refugees that were housed in some of the most intolerable in humane living conditions imaginable.
I saw it first hand in the Refugee camp during the late 80's in HongKong. Dexion Shelving 7' * 5' * 3' high for each family stacked on top of each other. No hot water. Some people had lived there for 5 years.
Nope, I don't have a problem with anyone coming through the correct channels even if its going to involve some immediate hardship. I have far more tolerance for the Timoreese Refugees who, unfortunately, many are being sent back. At least they don't desecrate the land they are living in.
