Suspicious alright, one old adage is if a broker says sell, he is buying, if a broker says buy, he is selling.
Why not E/mail back and ask what he is recommending if you do sell and if he comes up with a lemon you may be on the right track.
As already mentioned the fine print says you act on the brokers recommendation without recourse so he can and will treat you as colateral damage in relation to the size of your account if it helps his cause.
