Your strategy makes sense, obviously there is the risk that the SP keeps growing organically before the "big reveal" and so does the volume of lurkers waiting to click the buy button. Hence you may have more competition and less upside. If this big reveal also coincides with a revelation of commercial model (including potential partner agreement) then that uptake "lag" in the market may not happen and you are quickly caught with your pants down.
