Having been away from Appen' forum for a few weeks and now saw heaps of discussions on this topic.
Can anyone educates me why Meta’s US$14.8b Scale AI deal is bad news for Appen?
If Meta sees values in manually label data training which Scale AI is doing, shouldn't the other competitors such as Amazon, Microsoft also feel the urgency to build up their own?
Surly Appen' size is not comparable to Scale AI, but apple is still an apple no matter big or small...
