    General Question to the public:
    I am considering going prospecting for gold in my spare time but know nothing about it so far.
    I am looking for any usefull information about Metal Detectors and techniques.
    I am willing to spend up to $300 for some equipment to start.
    Anyone know any good online stores or physical stores around Melbourne for equipment?
    Any information appreciated.
