I use a gpx4500. If you are going to go for a good gold detector make sure you get somebody to teach you how to use it properly. I was not finding any gold with it and then spent a few days with Greckie from Golden Triangle Tours and every time I go detecting now I always find some gold. He will also teach you where to look and find gold. Happy detecting....
