The two FMG deposits are Marra Mamba's = Haematite / Goethite / Martite (same as Area C, West Angelas and Marandoo). Not sure where the Magnetite idea comes from?
Anyway, everything else FMG has on the books requires wet scrubbing as a minimum, possibly grinding, spirals and/or jigs. This would make it the most expensive iron ore in Australia.
Not sure about rails lines - but I know I wouldn't invest in infrastructure with such a wooly resource.
