re: metals down in aussie $ prices-not Nickel last traded according to Kitco at $10.05 AUD/lb compared to about $8 AUD/lb a couple of weeks ago.
Nickel is back over $22,166 AUD /tonne.
Up over $4,000 AUD/tonne in a couple of weeks.
Other base Metals have done well in the last few weeks also.
They are also up in Australian dollars.
A bad time imo to be shorting miners.
