Why not start discussions with the Chinese to motivate the US to move? IBG one of the biggest zinc deposits in the world is worth the same as a few nice homes in Sydney. I am sure the Chinese would love to invest, they already supply a majority of the US zinc consumption. With the Arctic projected to be ice-free during summer from 2030 onwards, I would expect the US to make a move pronto.
