Agree with your thoughts. Posted a simple fact on the asx thread that over the last six daily rises in oil over 2.5% the dow has avergaed a daily rise of minu 0.08% whereas the xjo averaged plus 0.31%. Gold and just about every other coomodity also up in NY.
If Dow holds reasonably tight on Monday, suggest aussie may not fall as may predict, and many may see this as a major start of decoupling of aus from US and US from the rest of the world!!
