"I sold my gold stocks over the past 3 weeks, so I welcome the pullback, it had to come."

Well done Hotfire. You should be able to get back in cheaper. I'm just too gutless to try that. Though I do look at all the money I could have made in this bull market which has a long way to go in price imo by selling near short term tops and buying in near the lows of those corrections.

Problem is noone is with any consistency correctly telling me at the time, including charts. It's all so hit and miss.

When the really big move comes in gold and gold stocks I assume you will be fully invested and not sitting on the sidelines wondering whether it's the right time to get back in because you finished selling out the day before and now gold has jumped $US300 overnight and all shares are gapping up beyond belief.

Remember all those posters we had here at one time telling us they were waiting for US$850 gold. Are they still waiting? One thing for sure is they have gone very quiet.
Maybe that's what happens when the gold bull shakes you off.

Guess my problem is going to be selling when prices are going completely beserk and everyone "knows" that you MUST buy anything gold and everyone in the media are telling you their latest golden "good thing" tips and everyone will be telling me I have lost the plot to even be thinking of selling any gold shares.

In the meantime I'll leave all the profit making and knowing just the right time to be invested in gold or fully out of gold during these relatively minor price fluctuations to the traders who are much smarter than me. Or is it called luck?
