Hmmm, firstly - I don't have a mental problem with Ozzies - I see things that are characteristics that would be far better if they did not exist.

No, I did not leave Oz because of the lesser developed culture ------------ I had travelled extensively in Oz and I had experienced many facets of life of an Ozzie, in Oz -------- and, I wanted to experience other cultures and other countries

What it has shown me is how different Oz is - and how it has some pluses, but how it is dreadfully lacking in some things that are just 'normal' in other cultures.

My greatest upset is because I actually love Australia - and IMO, it deserves better than Australians. - what they are and the culture of the country.

The tragedy from my pov is that Ozzies have some characteristics that are above and beyond -------- and so too does the country ------------ but, they are pretty well wasted because we lack just a couple of very basic foundational and philosophical critical pieces in the puzzle.

I gave you an example in the very recent past out of the article that YOU posted - it's there in black and white - crystal clear

a fundamental difference between Oz and many other well developed societies

without that kind of basic foundation in our character and culture and society - we will always be in the etc etc category

such a waste
