I've got two suggestions.

In "The Downloader", in the Covert dialog box, click Options, and ensure that the dates are BLANK. If you have any dates in there it will only convert between the two specified.

Secondly, consider the use of a data vendor that does it all for you... ie click one button and you're away. It'll also take care of delistings, splits, consolidations, dilutions, merges, code changes, name changes, deferred settlement history merges and capital returns.

www.premiumdata.net is one such data vendor that also has a free trial available.

You have to ask yourself whether you need such data for your trading, and if you do, if you want to be a trader or a database manager.
