Absolutely. I believe it is the best option out there. Others are supposedly more capable but don't have critical mass in user base so have a questionable future. Metastock is hard to outgrow. You can experiment and develop your own indicators - just ask Madcow.
In the scheme of things the cost of Metastock is tiny anyway if you are doing trading seriously.
Of course you can only make money if your trading methodology is sound. Metastock won't improve your trading skills for you.
