If you are going to be downloading data from yahoo it might be easier to have .au on the end
If data from cooltrader, float.com, comsec etc then just use usual tickers
There should be a specific setup file for the asx (at least there used to be) which sets up all tickers / sectors etc automatically to get you started otherwise just use the ascii import wizard
have you checked out the yahoo amibroker users group yet, they are very helpful over there
amibroker is very powerful and flexible which sometimes makes it a bit tricky to get the hang of....
