re: metminco�s imminent resource upgrad... El Capo, you may be right - but making predictions based on current market sentiment isnt very hard to do.
What everyone needs to remember is that this sentiment is affecting the entire market and not just MNC. MNC still has the same fundamentals and will still release results which will upgrade its current resource to over 2 billion. Market sentiment will eventually change just as night turns to day. The current batch of sellers are getting out with a loss and will be happy to claim that as a tax loss. Come the new financial year I would predict that we will have a new batch of buyers in for the medium to long term.
Those with a weak stomach should get out now, and those who stick it out will be rewarded by what IMO is a stable company with excellent prospects.
The situation in peru will hardly worry MNC who are quite a long way off thinking about mining its resource.
