    If they are talking 8MW of IT load, which I assume they are. NextDC wouldn't have been in a position to deliver this with M1 which has a design capacity of only 15MW. The customer would have had to wait for M2.
    Don't really know the value of the deal but. Presumably a large international IT Cloud company.

    Their Melbourne 2 Facility does look impressive though.

    Truth be told their is a lot of other large competing facilities of high spec when you do some digging.

    I do call into question their targeted PUE of 1.1 though.

    Googles best PUE was like 1.10 in Belgium, and if you look at all the cooling measures they deploy as well as the overall control they can exhibit in order to optimise, it would be pretty hard to compete. Not to mention Belgium is a lot cooler to start with too.

    In hindsight, as I have said previously. NextDC should have focused more on Sydney/Melbourne and less so on the other area's.
