Actually I don't see any inconsistency in the Orchard and Nuenco announcements. OPL has been bullish all along on this field and today they just stated the facts. Neo just elaborated on the facts. there is no conflict as far as I see it (and I read both anns about 5 times each).
Interesting to see how people reacted today, but the story must be gaining acceptance and buyers stepped in all day long.
it seems there are quite a lot of gas zones and it appears they have to start testing the bottom zones first regardless of their attractiveness. Therefore the juicy ones are still to come. I'd be more worried it the main targets failed to flow gas.
Don't forget that this gas is a bonus. We still have the oil to come. It gives me a lot of confidence that the gas has taken priority. It must be significant if they are putting the oil testing on the back burner for now.
