To answer, no one is suggesting that BIG (in your eg the caryard) pays the difference to the finance in default, in actual cash, but it APPEARS that they are doing it via discounted stock.
This is VERY DIFFERENT to finance from Harvey Norman (which is flexirent FXL). By the way, flexirent pay suppliers commissions, for completed finance deals. Why doesn't BIG get any commissions???
