I think everyone should raise a complaint with etrade. They have an internal complaint resolution process. Also raise a complaint with the financial ombudsman at http://www.fos.org.au
Basically its wrong that they are letting their clients hang out to dry when the only reason anyone used MF Global was because it was etrade's chosen cfd backend.
