I'm not sure what the market share is relating to CFD's but I would Imagine their position and market share in the Australian futures market would be significantly larger than that of their retail CFD division on $$$ basis.
MF have significant presence and Institutional & Prop desks in the Australian Bills & Bonds market. They also have the retail division and clearing arrangements with lots of smaller Introducing brokers. If you trade retail futures in Australia and are not with Interactive Brokers, then there is a good chance your associated with MF.
Lets hope this works out as there is a lot of money tied up with these guys.
