From what I understand its only insto investor ( JP Morgan ) was selling out its stake for whatever reason probably as MFC is too small for them to worry about. They may have finished and the stock should push back to 1.5c if it appears the merger will proceed.
But they havent put in a change of substantial holding form so they either didnt own 5% ( around 3.6 million shares ) or havent been selling. Its very tightly held so it doesnt take much to move the sp up or down.
My view is that even if the TOCC deal doesnt come off ( I think it will ) its not really a problem as MFC is now only a shell and some other company will use us as a vehicle for a back door listing and MFC shareholders will profit from it.
